While living in Russia I was struck by the fact that the Russian postal service used different mailboxes and I decided to take a picture of some of them. This one was taken in Uglich while on a river cruise from Moscow to St. Petersburg.
Waves at Kronborg
Sitting in St. Petersburg sweltering in the heat (30+ C) this image of waves breaking at the beach near Kronborg castle in Helsingør offers a slight cooling down. Shot in 2009 with my Nikon 20-35mm f2.8 lens at 20mm on my D700.
